Follow Our Journey

Part 1 out of a 7 part blog series for my two month journey in Florence, Italy. It will consist of what I learn about wine, vineyards and culture abroad.

We are creating a small batch of wine using Cabernet Sauvignon grape concentrate from California. Since grapes can't grow in the cold winter months on the east coast, we wanted to continuously perfect our recipe using various techniques. (Above is wine being siphoned from primary to secondary fermentation)

I've got a $14 bourbon barrel aged wine that will make your taste buds go crazy! Robert Mondavi is an amazing wine maker from the middle of California and I highly suggest you give this bottle a try.
